The days after Friday
On Thursday night something major will happen, whether it be aliens invading or blowing up earth, a huge super-storm, the sun blowing up, the moon breaking into millions of pieces, or a nuclear war, none of us are going to live through Friday. We must prepare ourselves to say our goodbyes, and we need to be ready for the other side. If by some divine miracle none of these things happen and I am talking to you about this in class on Friday, then my prediction for things to come next year is that Lovie Smith and Mike Tice are going to be replaced, because they don't understand that your can't run the ball up the middle when your offensive line can't block. If we do get to read this I'm going to sound like a major idiot, but whatever.

Gas Prices going down?
In the last 3 weeks the price of gas has dropped 10 cents. For a regular tank of gas the price is about $3.38. The lowest recorded gas price in the nation is $3.04, that is pretty low considering the time period that we are in, and gas was well over $4 at one point. In California that lowest average for gas is $3.42, the highest bring $3.73. I would like to call this a good sign for everyone that drives a car, because gas can be a lot of money, in about a month of driving to school and work I spend around $35 a week. Let's hope that the prices keep dropping.

Brewer's not dedicated enough?
The Brewers have officially given up on Manny Parra. Over the weekend they didn't tender his contract, and for the first time in over 10 years the great Manny Parra is a free agent. The Brewers tender 4 contracts over the weekend, but decided to overlook Parra, that could mean the end for the Brewers bullpen. The Brewers drafted Manny Parra and kept him until now, he wasn't really the Brewers best pitcher, but he got the job done out of the pen. He had some struggles throughout his career with the Brewers, but for now its done. After all the small talk and what not Doug Melvin said that Parra would be best fit in a starting role, for now the Brewers aren't signing Parra, but they are most likely going to have to, we need a lefty. I could almost guarantee a 20-0 season.
