Brazil produces death traps

Everyday in Brazil cars, about 10,000 of them, are flying off the assembly line and into Brazil's middle class. The cars are having some malfunctions, their safety features are weak and weak welds. Thousands of Brazilians are dying in accidents that aren't actually that bad, the cars are the reason that they're dying. South America already has some pretty dangerous driving conditions, which really doesn't help the fact that their cars suck. The US in 2010 went down in car wreck fatalities by 40%, while Brazil went up by 72%! That's outrageous, something should be done about these cars. Even the doctors are saying that these injuries are very ugly, and they are unnecessary.

Mayweather may not be one of the best...

Floyd Mayweather Jr. might be the best of his time, but there's no way that he will be ranked within the top 10 of all time. Maybe if he actually started to fight real fighters he could be called the best. He has been avoiding fights with Manny Pacquiao and Canelo Alvarez, both of whom are probably his toughest competition. He has already avoided a fight with Manny, and is making excuses with Canelo. Floyd is a good fighter, he is 44-0 in his career and a flat out outstanding fighter, but without him fighting a worthy opponent people aren't going to be believers. He is supposed to retire after 2 more fights so hopefully we can see him fight a real fighter.

Does the United States need more tanks?

This could cause some problems if we have incorporate this tanks, because we would be spending an extra half billion tax payer dollars on the tanks. Experts are also saying that these tanks aren't actually worth building. Even the army's chief of staff says that if they had their own choice they would be using this money in a different way. The reason that congress is pushing for these tanks to be built is so that we can keep up all the jobs in the congressional area where the tanks are being built. This probably won't happen because the army is pushing for it not to happen. If the army didn't say anything we would probably have spent $500 million dollars on things that aren't going to make an impact on our country's freedom.

Is more surveillance necessary?

Recently there were bombings near the area of the finish line of the Boston Marathon. After a 102 hour search for the suspects many people have been saying that there needs to be more cameras in public places in order to catch felons. They ended up finding the suspects using surveillance cameras, there are already of number of conspiracy theories on this, some more believable than others. Bigger cities have a larger number of cameras, but Boston only has about 300 cameras throughout the city, which seems extremely low seeing as Chicago has around 10,000. I personally feel that there does need to be more cameras around, they are very helpful in solving crimes whether they be large or small the cameras can help.

Antartic ice problems

Antarctica's ice is melting at a fairly alarming rate, actually it is at its highest rate in 1,000 years! The ice has been melting more intensely over the last 50 years, that is compared to the last 600 years. Australian and British scientist are the ones that have discovered that the temperatures are getting pretty large and might cause problems. temperatures have been increasing at a rates of 1.6 degrees Celsius for the last 600 years. The ice might start melting amazingly fast if the temperature increases, the only place that will still have ice in a few years will be Wisconsin.

Cyprus banking crisis

Recently in Europe there has been a huge banking crisis in Cyprus that is causing a major uproar from Mr. Putin. He is mad because Russia has billions of dollars put into different places in Europe, and a lot in Cyprus's banks. Some of the European leaders decided to raid the Cyprus bank accounts and steal money to try to keep them afloat. This commotion is most likely going to make some countries stop using the Euro as their currency and people are going to begin investing their money in Asia and U.S. stock markets, because their money isn't safe in Europe right now. Putin also has so much control in Europe that if he wanted to he could shut the whole continent down because Russia's money is making everything run. Europe is going to have some big things to talk about in the coming months.

Brittney Griner is invited to the NBA

Brittney Griner has obviously proved herself to be NBA worthy. She has averaged 22 points per game throughout her college career, that's pretty high she is averages about 9 rebounds per game. With her size Griner is a beast on the court and something that most NBA men would have trouble guarding. Griner led her team to a NCAA tournament trophy in 2012. The last 2 years she has also earned 1st team AP All-American all-star. The only downfall that I could see with her going to the NBA would be that it is a pretty physical game out there, and in the Louisville vs. Baylor game, Griner took a beating and couldn't put the team on her back. Griner also has taken a lot of low blows when it comes to social media, this mostl likely won't help it, but Griner doesn't seem to care too much about what people think. There have been reports that she has talked to multiple NBA teams, including the Buck, and will be attending a training camps. I give her 10 points a game with a solid 7 boards a game this season. Could this be the door women have been looking for?
