Djibouti is having an election

Times are changing around Djibouti, they recently held their most open election ever, and their next parliament will be the first in the great countries history. Their leader right now is Ismail Omar Guelleh, and he must seem pretty confident that there is not chance of him losing, because in 2010 he amended the constitution that allows him to stand for a third term. This election probably won't be the most fair one out there, that's for sure. Holding an election like this is pretty major for this tiny country, no matter how unfair it is, in 2011 they convicted a leading opposition presidential candidate for terrorism. That's pretty crazy, could you imagine if someone was going to do that in the United States? You can't even talk down to someone without getting yelled at. The leaders in Djibouti are pretty greedy about keeping their spots, and seem to do anything to keep them. They don't care about their countries major debt/unemployment issues, all they care about is how they look to people. I certainly do not see a very bright future for Djibouti. The question that this article is asking is if the world is going to start to keep an eye on the smaller and remote countries, especially after what has been happening in Mali. Let me tell you, I'd rather be in Didyabooty.

Best Buy taking a step back

Best Buy realizes that they are charging a bit too much and their income is taking a huge dip. They realize that they cannot keep up with their competitors with higher prices. Show rooming has completely killed Best Buy and now they are going to have to step off their throne atop the electronic business. Best Buy has released a list of the companies who's prices they are going to be attempting to match. They have cut down their return policy from 30 days to 15 days. This is going to be huge change, but it was the only way that Best Buy can stay afloat.

Rihanna and Chris showing their love.....

At the Grammys the couple was showing their affection in the audience. They were snuggling and they didn't seem to mind the cameras one bit. The cute couples obviously doesn't care what I think or what anyone else thinks about their relationships. Sure they have had their ups and their downs, but that shouldn't mean that they can't have a healthy relationship in 2013. Ryan Seacrest didn't even bother asking about their relationship, maybe he was afraid of being hit, instead he talked to him about his car accident. Chris doesn't seem to bothered about it, he just plans on getting a new one. Good luck to the new/old couple in the future.

Bin Laden likes theme parks!

The town in which Osama bin Laden was killed is now planning to build a huge 500-acre theme park. They are planning to feature some fake waterfalls, a zoo, and restaurants. The building where Osama was shot has been demolished so that it wouldn't become of shrine, which would cause a lot of controversy. Work on the huge park will begin later this month, and it has a budget of about 30 million dollars. The whole project its self is supposed to take around 8 years, and I'm sure that there is going to be a lot of speculation around the subject. But according to Yahoo this isn't the weirdest theme park out there.

Rick Ross is a target

Recently Rick Ross was supposedly targeted in a drive-by shooting. The story is that Rick Ross and one of his lady friends were in his Rolls Royce when they were shot at by multiple people. The car was shot by about 24 bullets, then the driver crashed into an apartment building. No one was injured, but this is how life is in the rap game. One witness says that all of the bullets hit the restaurant near where the car was, another says the bullets hit the car, and another source says that Ross recently bought a house in the area. Rick didn't choose the thug life, it chose him....

Bieber Cruises Past Gaga

Recently Justin Bieber has passed Lady Gaga as the most followed person on the popular social networking site, Twitter. Bieber has over 33 millions followers, but Gaga isn't too far behind him, she's only a few thousand behind. You can most likely thank Bieber's popularity to his recent scandals, for example he was caught smoking marijuana and a camera man died chasing his car. Don't get me wrong Bieber is a good singer and he does deserve some popularity, but for him to be one of the most famous people in the world is a little absurd, there are people in the military dying for us, and for some reason we turn to Justin. It doesn't seem right.

The real Death Star

Recently over 34,000 people have signed a petition to have the government make a real life Death Star, like the one from the Star Wars movies, in order to improve our countries safety and possibly the planet some day. When this came to the White House, they pretty much just laughed at the petition and responded by saying that it is stupid to make something so big and expensive that can be destroyed by a one man ship. They also said that it would cost us around $850 quadrillion, which would not help our economy. The White House also made it clear that they don't plan on blowing any planets up in the near future. We also already have a space station, and it only cost a couple billion...thanks NASA. So if any of the 34,000 people that signed this petition can explain to me why we would make a very expensive space station when we already have a space station that has been fine to this date, then I would love to hear their explanation. This seemed to be a good time for our government to tell us that if we want something like this to ever be possible then we need more people to get into the math and science departments. The White House also said that most of the technology that the Death Star uses hasn't been created or discovered yet, so it wouldn't be able to do a whole lot. My thoughts on this are just the fact that there are 34,000 people that would like to waste a lot of peoples time building a stupid space station, that wouldn't do anything for a long time, and how would we even get that thing into space, its HUGE!!! Now there is a petition going around asking the government to build a life size version of the Enterprise from Star Trek. Thank you to whoever started this.
