Lil Wayne doing what he does best...

Lil Wayne was supposed to be in court, but because of seizure like symptoms. Instead Wayne is giving them tapes. The tapes show Lil Wayne being interviewed by someone from TMZ. He seems to have very short term memory, and looks really stupid. Wayne suffered the seizures on his private jet, and was hospitalized after he landed. The judge was very mad a Lil Wayne. He said that Wayne is acting like a little kid, and that is frowned upon in our court system. We all know that Lil Wayne has had trouble in the past, but he is suing someone for making a documentary about Wayne, and providing false statements, that make Lil Wayne look bad. Hopefully he wins his case!

Disney stick figures?

Barney's, a well known fashion retailer has recently released an ad campaign. It is showing what looks like stick figures of Minnie mouse and Daisy duck. The idea behind these ads is that Minnie and her friends are dreaming about becoming fashion models. Now I know that teenage girls like to imagine this kind of stuff, but Barneys may have gone a little too far with this one. Minnie and Daisy are skinnier than a quarter of a light pole, Barneys took this one to the extreme. The reason that Barneys decided to make them look so skinny is because with their pleasantly plump model, made by Disney, they wouldn't look attractive in a tight dress. hundreds of thousands of people have signed a petition asking Barneys to changed them back to their usual figure. Also a few celebrities have stuck their necks out for Disney, also asking Barneys to not go through with this. Either way as of right now you are going to be able to see Minnie mouse and her friends on the runway November 14, of course there is always a chance this could not be happening.

From a little to a lot

A man by the name of Johnathan Roberts was making $5 an hour. Now this lucky man is making about a half million dollars a year. The real reason he is making all this money is because of a "global boom in offshore drilling." John is one of the few lucky people, and he is definitely living it up. An oil rig is not a fun place to live/work. You have to live on the oil rig for months in the middle of the sea, does that sound fun to you? Sure doesn't sound fun to me. You have to have special skills, and not a lot of people have those skills. I wish to have this nice pay day in my future.

Jobs still not available

Since last year at this time jobs are still fairly scarce. The jobs numbers have fallen, but the employment rate has increased. The numbers of hiring has also increased, this looks to be an upside for the USA. Hopefully this will continue and our economy will increase soon and we will be a successful country again.
At the same time last year we had 13% more jobs available, so that is our downside. We are hiring more people, but at the lame time we don't have as many openings. So there is a good thing coming out of this, but we still have a lot of progress to go.

Where is your next vaction destination?

Spring break is right around the corner, and your family is getting prepared to get hotels, plane tickets, passports, ect. Here are some of the worlds best islands to vacation on. The number one island on Yahoos top 10 list is Boracay, Philippines- this island is stunning, the beaches on this island are gorgeous! It is still one of the most underrated spots in the world, so as long as you make it there in one piece you should have a good time. Number two on this prestigious list is Bali, Indonesia- one of the 17,500 islands in the Indonesian  archipelago, but it stands out at number one because of its amazing history, there are many temples on the island, and it is an amazing sight(in pictures). Coming in at number three is Galapagos Islands, Ecuador- this exotic chain of over 600 islands is truly fascinating to the human eye, and keeps on drawing in the tourists. Number four is Maui, Hawaii- over the years Hawaii has been a big tourist destination, but this island is a place all its own. Maui offers so many different things to see and explore that you could be there for years and still have new adventures. Number five is the Great Barrier Reef Islands, South America- here just out side of South America there are stunning views of the pearl white sand and corral reefs, you shouldn't ever take your eyes off of them. The other five are on the list, if you want to take a look and find your next tropical destination then be my guest.

Back to Japan

Tsuyoshi Nishioka is leaving America to go back to Japan. Nishioka played for 3 years with the Twins, including 1 minor league season. He played terribly on the field, and when it came to batting he couldn't hit to save his life. When he was called up to the majors, he broke his leg, and when he came back he was even worse. His batting averages from 2010-2012 (2012 was in minor league) are .215/.267/.236. Nishioka wanted to leave America so bad that he agree with the Minnesota Twins that he would let them keep the 3.25 million dollars they still owed him if they released him from the team. Tsuyoshi was a 5 time all-star and  3 time Gold Glove winner in Japan, which is where the 28 year old will most likely be going back to. The Twins paid over 11 million to Nishioka over the last 2 years, and he will leave with his dignity intact having not taken the money that we can all agree he didn't deserve.
